FLOTA Projects

FLOTA Projects is a unique opportunity for girls aged 17-22 from North America, South America, Central America, and the Caribbean to participate in hands-on, small group projects. Project Teams will focus on a specific theme, working together to create a final project that seeks to offer new perspectives and contribute to current work done in the region. They may be research, creative, or volunteer in essence. In the process of completing their project, participants will gain critical skills, expand their knowledge in a particular field, and produce a deliverable that can be highlighted in professional contexts. Multiple projects will run from September 2025- May 2026. More specific information can be found in each project’s call for applications – which will be released throughout the year on our social media and website. Participants may apply to all projects that interest them, but may only participate in one project per year.
